Africa Sun
This journey was an 8 day safari in Tanzania taking in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park.

The Faroe Islands
This quirky Danish protectorate some 100 miles NW from Scotland turned out to be one of the most interesting places I have ever visited. The 18 islands largely bereft of trees is home to sheep and fishing. A deeply religious community that closes down on Sunday but whose bars are open until 4:00 in the morning every other time.

Greenland Ice
These photographs were taken on a visit to Greenland in July and August 2004. The trip started at Copenhagen Airport - Terminal 2 where we flew to Søndre Strømfjord Airport Kangerlussuaq then to Ilulissat where we stayed at the Arctic Hotel. The we travelled by the ship Sarfaq Ittukto down the West coast of Greenland to Narsarsuaq stopping to pick up local passengers, freight and mail. Finally we flew back to Copenhagen.

New York Sun and Snow
Photographs taken over several visits to Manhattan in sun and snow. The 'Blizzard of 2003' was the media title given to a stay in February 2003 at The Excelsior Hotel. Other stays have been during the the spring and autumn but the hottest was in the summer of 2003.
